Nursery & Toddler Care

Infant & Toddler Room
Care is provided in the infant and toddler room for children from birth to age 2 (or until a child enters preschool in September) from 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. each Sunday. This room has two consistent, professional nursery caregivers each week, supported by parents and others who volunteer one Sunday per month.

Infants and toddlers relate to God as they would a favorite blanket or stuffed animal, associating God with the love and security they experience from their parents and caregivers while at church. Our caregivers will know and greet your children by name, helping them to experience the love and grace of God during their care.  Nursery care for young children means a rich and interesting environment, loving adults who are glad to see you, and hands-on play in a part of this church that is planned just for young children.

Infant Oasis
While children of all ages are welcome in the Sanctuary during worship we know there are times when families need more private space in which to experience worship. Found in the rear of the sanctuary, this nook is equipped with comfy rockers and changing table to accommodate any infant needs that arise during worship, including space to walk and explore during worship.

Parent’s & Babies Play Group (Serenity NOW)
Led by Director of Children and Family Ministries, Betsy Wooster, this monthly play group meets in our church nursery, usually on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 10:30 am – noon (check calendar).  Parents enjoy the relaxed environment and adult conversation, while babies and toddlers have ample space to play or sleep! Come for sanity, serenity and support from other parents of young children!   Refreshments provided each month by members of the Children and Family Ministries committee. This group is open to ALL.  Please feel free to invite others you know who might enjoy this time together.  We hope you will join us.
