Summer Church School Schedule

*From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend*

Infant &, Toddler Care provided from 8:15 am - 11:15 am each Sunday morning in our infant & toddler room, just across from the main church office.

summerPreschool and Kindergarten classes begin at 10:00 am in room 1 and the Geuder Room in the children’s ministry wing.

Children first through sixth grade begin in worship with their families at 10:00 am. During worship all children are invited forward for the Children’s Message, a time for conversation specifically with them.  After the Children’s Message 1st-6th graders accompany their teachers on to Baobab Blast, summer Vacation Bible School!  We start with large group time under the “Baobab” tree, and then break into more closely graded groups for our activities of the day.

Family Worship Sundays:  The first Sunday of each month is family worship, when the Fairmount family partakes in the sacrament of Holy Communion.  All children in 1st-6th grade stay with their families for the 10:00 am hour of worship and all are invited to the table.

baobab blastSend your children in casual play clothes for Baobab Blast on Sunday mornings this summer!

Baobab Blast is a surprising adventure where kids explore the wonder, friendships, and joy in building God’s community. God’s Great Get-Together is a nurturing environment that is inclusive for all participants. Baobab Blast’s critter friends — Faye the Zebra, Amy the Monkey, Bud the Elephant, Sam the Meerkat and Jonathan the Giraffe — will delight your kids and remind them of the Bible stories they are exploring.

August Sundays will focus on music with a special beat!  Join us on Sunday mornings, August 8th-29th, for singing and drumming with Eve Sliwinski, our new children’s music associate!  Eve will lead singing and music fun with all church school age groups as part of Baobab Blast!

Adults who want to join the teaching fun: please contact Betsy Wooster for more information about Vacation Bible School.
