Confirmation Class (Grades 8 and 9)
Confirmation Class 2008Our next Confirmation Class will be offered in the fall of 2012 for youth in the 8th and 9th grades.
This class engages youth in conversations about and practices of discipleship. During the year our Confirmands stretch their theological muscles as we discuss the Bible, church history, worship, sacraments, and other faith traditions.
Confirmation class involves participation in worship services, mission projects, and weekend retreats with CHEER (senior high youth group). Each student is partnered with a mentor. At the end of the program year all Confirmands will be invited to make a decision about membership in the church.  No matter what that decision is the Fairmount community is 100% supportive.

“In this world you have may have difficulties, but be of good cheer,
I have overcome the world.”
