New Vision Worship
Sundays at 6 pm in the Chapel

January finds us launching into yet another church season, the season of Epiphany in which we will reflect upon the ways in which God’s glory is shown forth to all the world and we will explore what it means to be known, loved and called by God.

  • January 4th: Join us as we celebrate Epiphany a few days early. Like God used a star to help the Wise Ones know of the birth of a new King, God still communicates with us today. Using Matthew 2:1-12 we will listen for how God’s still small voice is calling us to make our own journey of faith.
  • January 11th: In the waters of Baptism we hear God’s voice, claiming us as God’s own beloved Children. Tonight we will remember our baptisms and celebrate how God calls us to live out our baptism in all we do.
  • January 18th: Sometimes we must say one holy word – “No” so that we will be open to say “yes” when Christ calls us to follow him, to teach, to pray, to walk the way of Christ in all we do. Rob Bell’s Nooma video, Shells, will challenge us to consider the power of “No” so that we might say “Yes.”
  • January 25th: In Mark 1:14-20 we see Christ calling the first disciples. But as you read the text be careful, you might find that you too are being called to fish for people.
